KLHS
KLHS is Information,
but what is
?
KLHS is Loveland High's very own newscast organization which creates daily news shows.
Our school has one of the best broadcasting classes in our school district.
KLHS is a group of students that announces the events that are occurring at our school and around our community. Also, we create visual stories that grab the viewers' eyes.
We do the TV announcements on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
On Wednesdays, we do audio announcements.
Students learn the different jobs involved with producing TV news broadcasts: director, tape technician, technical director, audio director, floor director, and cameraman. Students also take turns being the anchors of a real broadcast.
Teachers e-mail KLHS with news from their clubs or departments.
If you wish to join KLHS you must be a 10th grader or older and you must do an interview with the KLHS.
The staff sponsor for KLHS is Brian Causer.
This class includes 20 plus members that use state of the art equipment to produce shows and to make packages (or stories) aired during the newscasts.
KLHS is shown at the beginning of 2nd period Monday through Friday, except Wednesdays. It is also aired to the city of Loveland at 7:00 PM on Channel 14.

The typical show KLHS produces is no longer than seven minutes and consists of current news and at least one prerecorded story.
